What is Silicon?

Silicon (Si) is the second most abundant element in the lithosphere, present in almost all minerals but not naturally occurring in the free state. This element in plant nutrition has proven to be a beneficial element for crops as it promotes plant mechanical resistance, light interception, as well as resistance to various forms of abiotic and biotic stress, thus improving both yield and crop quality. The addition of silicon is directly related to nutrition, biostimulation and plant protection.

BIOEST has developed and patented a new technology called SIKONBLEND (Si-BPN), a highly stable and soluble organic silicon source. This material can be used in combination with different Macro and Micro elements essential for plant nutrition; it can also be combined with organic sources such as Algae, Amino Acids, Humic Acids, Fulvic Acids. This new material can be combined in the same way with traditional agrochemicals.

NITROSIL K®

MIXED COMPLEX FERTILIZER FOR FOLIAR APPLICATION

Compatible with most of the existing products on the market. NITROSIL-K® is a soluble concentrate fertilizer for foliar application with a high content of plant-available silicon, together with nitrogen and potassium.

NITROGEN: Encourages rapid growth by increasing plant height and shoot formation. Increases the protein content of grains and fruits. Increases the size of the leaves. Improves crop quality.

POTASSIUM: Makes crops resistant to diseases and adverse effects of climatic conditions. Increases the size and weight of grains and fruits and the quality of flowers and foliage.

SILICON: Promotes growth, accelerates the elongation of stems and roots, improving early root development. Increases the number of grains per ear; activates flowering.

STORAGE

To ensure its perfect preservation, it should be stored in a cool, dry place, avoiding low temperatures. Under these conditions and in a closed container, it maintains its activity for two years.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Prolonged contact may cause irritation. This product is slightly toxic if ingested. Keep out of the reach of children.

After application wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. In case of ingestion, seek medical attention with a copy of the product label.

In case of intoxication, refer the patient as soon as possible to the physician with a copy of this document or with the product label.

This fertilizer is non-polluting and is compatible with most of the existing products on the market.

Misilk 360®

SOIL NUTRIENT ENHANCER

Silicon has not been included as an essential element but its presence in the soil has shown beneficial results in a great variety of crops, helping in a positive way to counteract biotic (diseases and insects) and abiotic stresses such as abrupt climate changes, water deficiencies and excesses or deficiencies of elements such as phosphorus, sodium, manganese, nitrogen and aluminum. Silicon is absorbed by plants as Silicic Acid and stored in the form of silica gel in the different plant tissues.

Potassium is one of the three major elements and its presence is essential for the synthesis processes of carbohydrates, proteins, and a good amount of organic acids. Its presence is essential for protein synthesis; it increases photosynthetic activity in times of low light, facilitates the transport of carbohydrates within the plant, and regulates nitrogen absorption.

MISILK-360 is a liquid fertilizer, in concentrated soluble suspension, for soil application with a Potassium and Silicon enriched formula.

MISILK-360 acts mainly by correcting and preventing Potassium and Silicon deficiencies in the soil. It’s recommended as a soil nutrient enhancer, since such nutrients are immobilized due to high concentrations of salts. The product increases the soil osmotic potential by increasing the flow of water and nutrients in the plant root zone.

MISILK-360 is recommended for the improvement of soil characteristics; Silicon promotes the creation of mineral nutrient gradients N, P, K from the soil, up to the plant tissues.

Tecnosil®

SILICON AND POTASSIUM FOR FOLIAR APPLICATION

Fertilizer based on silicon and potassium.

Due to its oily formulation, it generates a protective layer that reduces the pressure of pests and diseases.

Regulates stomata opening, prevents water stress.

Creates a protective layer against UV rays. Gives coloration and uniformity to crops.

Dosage for application: 2.5 c.c. per liter of water

Stimulates vegetative and reproductive development.

Activates natural defense mechanisms against pests and diseases.

Stimulates the appearance of primordia and prevents early senescence of crops.

Fixes colors and increases the resistance of fruit peels and stems.

Fertilizer based on calcium phosphite and potassium phosphite. Complemented with silicon, Calcium, Sulfur, Zinc and Boron. It acts as a plant resistance inducer.

Liquid fertilizer in concentrated suspension for foliar application, with a formulation enriched with Phosphorus, Potassium and minor elements such as silicon. SIKONFERT RAICES acts mainly by correcting and preventing Phosphorus and Potassium deficiencies. SIKONFERT RAICES stimulates the formation of stronger stems and roots, efficiently improving the production of flowers and fruits; it also activates a defense mechanism in plants due to the benefits of silicon.
