In BIOEST SAS, we are committed to provide safe working conditions for the prevention of harm, the employees's healthcare, continuous guidance for hazard elimination, risk reduction, and continuous improvement of the occupational health and safety system.
All levels of management assume responsibility for promoting a safe and healthy work environment, complying with applicable legal requirements and involving stakeholders in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, allocating the necessary human, physical and financial resources for the management and continuous improvement of the system.
The programs developed in BIOEST SAS, will be oriented to the promotion of a preventive culture and self-care, the intervention of working conditions that may cause accidents or occupational diseases, risk control and emergency preparedness. All employees, contractors and temporary employees are responsible for complying with safety standards and procedures in order to perform safe and productive work. They will also be responsible for notifying in a timely manner all those conditions that may generate consequences and contingencies for the employees and the organization.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY OBJECTIVES

Maintain the occupational fatality rate at 0.

Register an accident frequency ≤ (less than or equal to) the average of the immediately preceding year.

Keep the severity of accidents in a mild classification.

Utilize the amount of resources in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

Aim for 90% effectiveness in the execution of the work plan.

Implement the MEI inspection methodology (machinery, personal protective equipment and facilities).

Manage at least 80% of the hazards identified in the IPER matrix.

Increase the 85% of compliance of the SG-SST, compared to the requirements established in Decree 1072 of 2015 and Resolution 0312 of 2019.
